MEET BEV LADD: My husband, Jack, and I have lived in Scotts Valley for more than 40 years. We've owned Ladd’s Auto Body and Towing for over 4 decades -- a business that my husband started with just one tow truck, right out of High School, in 1980. We recently sold the company to my husbands brother, Joe, (in 2021), and is thrilled to have entered retirement! With hard work and dedication, we've built the company to what it is today! Ladd's now has 12 trucks on the road and has proudly held all of the TOP major contracts in the area with CHP, Freeway Service Patrol and AAA. We’ve been awarded consistently by the Board of Transportation and have maintained this wonderful rapport throughout our ownership of the business.

 

In addition to building a thriving business, we've also raised 3 beautiful children and have 3 adorable granddaughters -- all of whom we couldn't be more proud of! They have brought us so much joy! WHY I’M DIFFERENT: Having a successful business that’s been built from the ground up has equipped me with a myriad of skills which enable me to help others. Some of these include; the ability to accurately assess a situation and arrive at a positive solution – analytical thinking and problem-solving have been crucial in my Real Estate career. I’m driven, goal-oriented, confident, resilient, focused and open-minded. All of these traits have spilled over into my career in Real Estate and have been instrumental in each and every transaction – helping all of my clients immensely!

 

IN MY FREE TIME: My true love is my family and spending quality time with them. I cherish vacationing with my children and grandchildren and creating memories. I have a passion for swimming and feel absolutely exhilarated when I’m in the water! I love boating, scuba diving and thoroughly enjoy swimming in the warm tropical oceans when I can – Hawaii, Tahiti and the Caribbean are a few of my favorite places! I also enjoy reading a good autobiography or memoir. I’m fascinated by people that overcome adversity and better themselves because of what they’ve gone through in life.
